I'm beginning to believe this game is actually an exquisitely sublime study on game loyalty.

I dont know if any one rmembers but I did some research into my family history and can trace the Crook side to Old Buckingham in Norfolk to 1750. I got an email today from a lost realtive who is the son of my dads dad, brother and he only lives across the Humber from where I used to live! Small world eh?

Just thought I would share this with you....

The wife can trace her roots via Admeral Duncan ( as in Nelsons time) all the way back to 900 , up in bonny scotland. Bit upsetting as some were hung as terrorist's ( or freadom fighter, or just Scots yob).
Pity no money or land left (should have fought harder against the brave English ) LOL!!

If you dig far enough back you'll find everything... My challenge is that I can only go back so far, then I have to learn to read Italian, Lithuanian, Croatian and Klingon.

My ancestry, on my mother's side can only be traced, by me at least, to mid 18th century America, and really then, only post War of Independence. I am guessing that the Royal census was different than the first American census.

My mums family live in a small village outside Ballyshannon for the last 150 odd years. 10 years ago they moved lock stock and barrel. Up the hill 100 yrds!

Now Mum is back in Ireland but 2 miles away in Belleek.

It really can be a small world.
