Hi Carol etc

Unless a PChas learnt a knack with specific weapons it appears they cannot use more than one type of sword. If indeed this is the case I am wondering if you intend to updating the duel Knacks by including a general attack/defend useable by the three sword types?

 You don't need to a knack to use or attack with a sword. You just make a normal attack, knacks are just when you want to do something special. The rules don't point that out very well.

Phew, thats good to know. Does it include like the Engarde dueling slash, cut, lunge, block, parry etc.

 Yeah, I had trouble with that, too, but it's true you do not need a knack to duel and you may use any weapon. We'll see how this turn goes before thinking about changing anything.

 Not to mention, with ship applications pre-monthly and two parties, we could have ship rivalry clashes at either party. Good fun! The upside is your swordsmanship will go up. And you needed a new set of clothes to replace the cut up coat anyway.
